Hurricane Katrina forced Gustavo to close his spacious studio on Magazine Street. He wanted to remain and participate on the rebuilding of New Orleans. Within a year he created a new space on Camp Street, on the Lower Garden District.

Among his generous support of charitable organizations, Gustavo hosted fundraising events including Louisiana SPCA, Artworks for the Earth and Bridge House “Useful Arts”.

You are invited to view Gustavo Duque’s current work at his studio, by appointment only.
